THE GONAZALEZ PROJECT

THE BEGINING

When meeting the Gonzalez family we were excited to work with a huge back yard and saw a giant empty canvas to get creative with. The family had a large deck built when they purchased a home and were looking to create an outdoor living area where they could install a hot tub and have outdoor gatherings where friends and family could relax and enjoy. After a few meetings one of our guys was able to create a beautiful area

The process

The family wanted to create an open area under their porch for aesthetic / functional reasons. Our goal was to remove a center post to create a clean view and open up the area under the homeowners deck. We decided the best way to do this was install two more 6” x 6” post and a glue laminated 18’Long pressure treated beam for support. After getting an engineer to inspect and approve our plan we got to work! One of our skilled carpenters did the installation and our masonry crew got to work building the bar structure, seating wall and fire pit.

Once the structures were done their finished look was done in gray stack veneer stone and 2” chiseled edge flagstone caps. Then we could finally put down the paver.

After all of that was done we could FINALLY put down our pavers

Overall we are extremely pleased with the outcome and are glad we could work with a great family to create a beautiful outdoor living area for them.
